Does God Stop Calling Us?
Billy Graham once told a story about a traveler at an airport. Though he knew his departure time, he stayed distracted in the terminal, assuming he had plenty of time. When the first boarding call echoed over the speaker, he ignored it. A second and third call followed, but he remained preoccupied. Finally, a last call sounded, but he wasn't even listening. When he eventually reached the gate, the plane was gone. He had missed his flight.
This past Sunday, we discussed the "unforgivable sin": blaspheming the Holy Spirit. Just like that traveler, many people ignore the repeated calls of God. The Holy Spirit is the "giver of life" who reveals God’s glory through creation, Scripture, and the witness of believers. Because of this revelation, Romans tells us we are without excuse.
God is patient, wanting no one to perish, but He is also just. Everyone is given the opportunity to respond to the "life preserver" He offers. However, our time is not infinite. Just as the man missed his plane, we will all one day breathe our last.
The only moment we are guaranteed is right now. If you haven't followed Jesus by your final breath, you will know what it means to reject the Holy Spirit who can lead you to forgiveness.
God is calling you. Are you listening? Will you follow Him today?

Are you a young professional looking for a welcoming group to connect with?
You won’t want to miss our lunch on April 26. If you’re single, in grad school, or married without children and between the ages of 22–35, we’d love to personally invite you to join us for lunch at Gather Cola following worship. After the service, Lynnsey Hanks and Striker Gandy will gather everyone in the sanctuary and then lead the group to Gather Cola. Please mark your calendar and come share a meal, conversation, and community with us on April 26.

Are you interested in learning more about Palmetto Life?
The Discover Life class is your first step to becoming a member of Palmetto Life. This class will guide you to understand our mission, strategy and identity. This will help you formally partner with us to Bring Life to the heart of South Carolina through the power of Jesus.
The class will take place following the worship service. Lunch and Childcare are provided.

Prayer and Praise
Wednesday: May-June
Create a rhythm of weekly prayer in the sanctuary from 5:15–5:45 p.m. on Wednesdays. We encourage you to come and pray—join us after work for focused, intentional time with God, or come a little early to attend Life Class. If you need specific prayer or would like a pastor or church leader to pray with you, please click here.
Kids Life: Winshape Camps
June 8-12
Kids Life is excited to announce a summer day camp experience for your K-5 grader. Students will have a chance to participate in WinShape Camps located at North Trenholm Baptist Church. Cost is $175 a camper for 8:30a-5:00p (Mon-Thurs) and 8:30a-11:00a (Friday). Friday includes a closing program and Chick-fil-a lunch from 11:00a-12:00p.
