Luke is a creature of habit. Every Sunday morning, he arrives for the 10:30 am service at exactly 10:20 am. He parks in the same spot, pours his coffee exactly 3/4 full, and adds a touch of cream with half a pack of Splenda. He greets people with warmth, but his focus rarely leaves the rim of his mug.
Luke sits in the same spot every week: back middle, second row of the section. He enjoys the music and listens intently to the message. But as soon as the service ends, he offers a polite smile and slips out the door. This is his routine. People know Luke’s face, and he knows theirs, but the conversation never goes deeper than a nod.
Are you a "Luke"? Routine is comfortable, but we were made for community. At Palmetto Life Church, we long to be more than just a crowd; we want to be a connecting family. If you find yourself in a routine but craving a real sense of belonging, your next step is Discover Life. It is the pathway to becoming a member and moving from "just attending" to truly being known.
Do you know a "Luke"? Look around you this Sunday. You likely know exactly who the "Luke" in your section is. We want to challenge you: don't let them leave with just a nod. This week, take a moment to start a conversation. Ask them their name, share a bit of yours, and encourage them to take their next step into our church family.

Discover life: pathway to mEMBERSHIP

The Discover Life class is your first step to becoming a member of Palmetto Life. This class will guide you to understand our mission, strategy and identity. This will help you formally partner with us to Bring Life to the heart of South Carolina through the power of Jesus.
Uptown Life Group: interest Gathering
February 8
Palmetto Life will be launching their first Life Group led by Tom Hall and Will Bonniville for the Uptown District. The Uptown District makes up the Elmwood, Earlewood, and Cottontown neighborhoods, but people from all over are welcome to join.
A Life Group is a connected family to live life with. A family connected to God, connected to Followers of Jesus, and connected to our community. Our mission is to Bring Life to the heart of South Carolina—and Life Groups are one of the primary ways that happens. Life Groups are a culmination of Palmetto Life’s strategy to Live On, Live In and Live Out.
Join us on February 8 to meet people who live in these areas and hear more about Life Groups. Light refreshments will be provided.
